The best equine vet. He comes from a ranch family and knows large animals well. Does not over do treatment, has endless years of experience. Supports his local community events. Is our go to vet at Cameron Ranch!

This is a caring and sensitive vet. I've had to help friends put down a horse on a few occasions. On 3 occasions Dr. Marteney was the attending. Always sensitive to the horse and the owner. A good DVM. a good man.

It’s taken me about two months to get around to leaving this review because it was too hard to put into words, but I need to let people know how wonderful Dr. Marteney and his receptionist (who’s name I’m blanking on right now, I’m so sorry... you were amazing at keeping me calm while waiting!) are. Unfortunately there was nothing that could have been done to save my boy, but Dr. Marteney was quick to come to my emergency call and diagnosed Cisco within minutes of arriving. The process of putting him down was incredibly fast and peaceful (all things considered). I am beyond grateful for him and his staff for making a horrific day as easy as possible.... I’ll definitely be calling him out again, just hopefully not for the same reason for a very long time!!!
