This is a phenomenal clinic in all areas of care for your pet. I had a semi-emergency on Thanksgiving morning. My regular vet was closed, which was expected, and I wasn't going to wait until the following day. I was pleasantly surprised that not only was Folsom Ranch open, but that they told me I could bring my pooch, Charlie in immediately to have him cared for. I had him there by 1:00 PM and he was treated for expertly and ready to go home by mid afternoon. Charlie didn't miss a second of Thanksgiving dinner with the family and he didn't miss out on any turkey, either! The entire staff did an excellent job. I wouldn't consider taking Charlie anywhere else after the amazing experience we had at Folsom Ranch!

This review is long overdue. It's been over a year since my cat had a severe intestinal blockage. The emergency vet recommended Folsom Ranch Vet. They were so kind and took Ellie Sundae in right away. The entire staff was welcoming and cared about Ellie. She made a very quick recovery thanks to all the staff at Folsom Ranch I cannot thank you enough for saving Ellie's life.

The facility is modern, clean, and very welcoming. I brought in a stray kitten who was sick with an infection after calling several other vets with no luck — this was the only urgent care clinic willing to help, and I’m so grateful they did. I arrived early for my appointment, and they took me in right away. The staff spent plenty of time with me, and multiple nurses carefully explained the medications, treatment options, and pricing before proceeding with anything. Everyone was incredibly kind, patient, and thorough, and I truly felt supported as a new pet owner. They even followed up the next day with a phone call and a kind email to check on my kitten’s progress. I couldn’t have asked for better care. I would 100% recommend this clinic to anyone needing compassionate and professional veterinary urgent care!

I have never felt nearly as comfortable at any other vet office. The staff always displayed compassion and warmth in our somewhat frequent visits in the last year and a half with our senior black lab Tobi, and the vets were always sure to take their time with us and explain our dog’s conditions in ways we could understand. To top it off, we received an unexpected card with heartfelt messages from the staff after our boy passed away last week. This was so incredibly touching. From the bottom of my heart, thank you to the staff at FRVH for your loving help with our furbaby in his last year of life. Whenever I decide to get another pet, I will gladly take the longer drive to this vet office for care.

I had to bring my dog Layla in for urgent care due to an allergic reaction, and I can’t thank Folsom Ranch Veterinary Hospital enough for how amazing they were. From the moment we walked in, the entire staff was incredibly kind, gentle, and welcoming — not only to Layla, but to me as well. The environment was clean, calm, and comforting, which helped ease the stress of the situation. Dr. Hodapp was absolutely wonderful. She took the time to thoroughly examine Layla and created a treatment plan she truly felt was best to get her back to good health. It was clear she genuinely cared, and that gave me so much peace of mind. Layla is already doing so much better thanks to their care. After this experience, I’ve decided to switch Layla to Folsom Ranch for all of her regular veterinary care. Their professionalism, compassion, and attention to detail truly set them apart. I highly recommend them to any pet owner looking for high-quality, reliable care.
