Preventive care

Compare prescription pricing
Some pet medications prescribed at veterinary clinics may also be available through local or online pharmacies. It can be helpful to compare pricing when appropriate to reduce ongoing medication costs.
Consider pet insurance
Pet insurance may help cover a portion of eligible veterinary expenses depending on the plan, including accidents, illnesses, and in some cases preventive care. Coverage details, reimbursement levels, and deductibles vary by provider.

I've been going to Warner Vista Animal Hospital for 7 years. I brought three dogs and a cat here for various reasons. They're always friendly and they really care about the animals. Dr Jake did my German Shepherds neuter, and he was fantastic all the doctors there are amazing.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for years. I was referred by a friend and utilize a program that affords me the ability to care for my dogs. I am a student, work a full time job and live over 45 minutes from the office. Which they would know if they made any attempts to get to know me or my animals. I’ve rescheduled in accordance with their cancellation policy many appointments but have never missed any. I’ve kept my dogs up to date on all of their shots and preventative appointments. I scheduled a surgery for one of my dogs, mind you no preparation call was offered, that’s neither here nor there. The day of the surgery I over slept and missed the appointment entirely. Days later I got a call from my program offering to provide me a list of vets. Confused I called and they informed me that WVAH had asked me to be removed from their roster. After going there for 4 years with no incident!!! I didn’t even get a call they were considering that as an option. I should have changed vets years ago, they are very impersonal and lax about their care of my dogs. I’ve never been made to feel comfortable, welcomed or valued as a client. The ONLY reason I didn’t change vets already was the time it would take to find another. I’m very disgusted at this way of doing business and now agree with their decision. I’ve never referred anyone to them and now I’m glad I didn’t.

I highly recommend Dr. Cohen. His compassionate approach and clear explanations made a difficult decision much easier for us. Despite the emotional situation of having to say goodbye to our beloved dog, Dr. Cohen's genuine kindness and expertise provided comfort throughout the process.

I have taking several of my aminals here for years. This last time I was charged for services they never did. It almost cost my babies life. Thankfully I found a vet who did their job and saved my babies life. By them not doing what I asked for a diabetes blood test he lost over 5 pounds and his blood sugar was over 400. Stay away from here and unless you see what they are doing dont trust them.

Everyone at this animal hospital is friendly, knowledgeable, and caring. They can get me in at times that work with my crazy schedule, their costs are always reasonable, and they are compassionate about what I can and cannot do when I have to make tough choices.
