From the front office to the back, receptionist, vet tech, to the vet and everyone in-between have always been kind, honest, and caring. If we have any kind of questions, or concerns, no matter how small or big, they always seem to give us answers or explanation. We been taking are fur babies to Banfield for about over 10 yrs We started with Qc and now at this Banfield ( moved to the west side). Thank you everyone for taking such good care of our babies.

My Pet name is Dobi. I have a German Shepherd who’s incredibly loyal and protective—an angel to me, but not always easy for others to handle. Recently, he had blood in his stool and needed urgent care. The team at Banfield Avondale was amazing. They made the entire process smooth and stress-free, managing to examine and treat him in just one visit, despite his challenging temperament. The prescribed medication worked perfectly, and my dog is now back to his happy, healthy self with no symptoms. Incredible staff! They truly treat your pet like their own. Dr.Mac conducted my chi’s dental cleaning and he loved her. He was so happy with the vet tech too! He’s a spicy diva so it’s unusual for him to like any vets (or people). Also, the front desk is awesome. She’s so polite and welcoming. I went to a different location previously and it was terrible. I’m so happy I found another hospital that really cares for my baby! Please view his post-dental face on the video😂

I was on Banfield wellness plan for 12 years (basically since the birth). Once Banfield left Pet Smart, the location and the quality of care as well as customer service has been changed drastically. I have just ended the wellness plan. I used to get a great care when I needed the most. In my recent experience, I was told to go the emergency during their business hours by front desk. I went to emergency but they said it is not emergency so I had to wait for hours. I understand if it was after hours but they dont even take urgent matters during their open hours. A few months ago, the provider was about to give medication without checking the results. After I reminded her, she said “oh shoot! I guess I didnt, I am sorry”. It is definitely not safe here anymore. Front desk, ZACH, is very rude and unprofessional. In one case, he was yelling at me over the phone. On other cases, he does not respond my calls since he was recognizing my phone number. I was on hold for over 10 minutes unless I call using my business number then he was picking up instantly. This happened so many times for over a period of time. It is unbelievable and unacceptable. He seems like he hates his job. I have found a very good veterinary place fortunately where from front desk to doctors are incredibly friendly and welcoming. i highly recommend for you to take your dog somewhere else.
