I’ve gone to this vet since 2018. I treat my cat Lito like a human child, and Dr. Challenger respects this and does it too! SHE IS GOLD! I was sad when the longest running vet retired, but Dr. Challenger is phenomenal, notably good with cats, and we got lucky. Request her if you have a cat. She’s extremely detailed when needed. She did his airport paperwork to perfection. If you want to make sure they’re in good hands, your pet is safe here. I requested the most experienced hands they have to draw his blood because he was causing issues (he’s the worst kind of cat at the vet), and they brought in an actual nurse who did it seamlessly. Really great operation. It feels like home! It’s always clean. I recently had to move to Orlando, but they’re the best! They are the best price for the quality you expect; it’s not worth it going to a cheaper vet like the SPCA, talking from experience. Because of their good pricing, I was always able to afford everything needed for him. He is FIV+ and they handled him with utmost care, giving me gabapentin for when he had to come in for neck blood draws or urinalysis. Cat dental cleanings (and all their other services to my knowledge) are the lowest pricing tier available if you call around (~$500 in 2024). I did not get the membership, but it would be smart for a senior cat with or without FIV+ status because the silver package I think includes a free dental cleaning and pays for itself. Their cat dentist is a true professional as well. She is experienced, and his gums were not irritated. Their microchipping is super cheap too, like the cost of a vaccine, and uses one of the best database companies. I randomly did an FIV test and discovered he was, so it’s not a bad idea too if they’ve been outdoors. Meadowrun is 10/10, the perfect animal hospital! ✨

I can’t thank Meadow Run Affordable Pet Care enough for the incredible care they gave my dog, Bella. When she got very sick, they made me feel fully supported throughout her care. The team was compassionate, patient, and gave me clear options to make sure she got the best care possible. Melissa and Dr. Fischer were especially wonderful. They were so kind, attentive, and genuinely cared about both Bella and me during such a stressful time. They kept her throughout the day to monitor her closely and updated me often, which meant so much while I was so worried. Sharon helped make sure I got an appointment as soon as possible, and has always taken amazing care of Bella during her annual visits or check ups. Thanks to their kindness and attention, Bella is back to her usual feistiness and playful with her sister again. You can tell everyone there truly cares about the animals they treat and the people who love them. I’m so grateful for how they cared for my baby girl. Highly recommend this clinic to anyone who wants genuine, compassionate veterinary care. ❤️🐾

Meadowrun is seriously the best vet office for your fur babies. I’ve been going for years and they’ve taken such amazing care of my Luke. From start to finish it has always been a positive experience. Sharon has been so kind and provided amazing service getting my dog in for emergencies when he’s unwell. All the vet techs and Dr. Challenger have gone above and beyond. Luke always looks forward to seeing everyone especially his favorite tech Julie. I cannot thank you enough for providing such quality care, and loving on my baby when he’s in your care.

if you are looking for a safe and loving place to take your pet, please take them here. every person on staff is not only incredibly knowledgeable and helpful, they also care so so much and they show it. i had to let my baby go recently and it was harder than anything i’ve ever had to do. i recently moved back to tampa after being in brandon for over a year but i was not going to go take her anywhere else but meadowrun for this. even for routine visits and checkups, the girls were always so sweet to her and gave her unconditional love and hugs and kisses and treated her so gently. taking her here for her passing was the best decision ive made although it’s still fresh and difficult to even talk about but i have to say the staff here are above and beyond incredible and not only showed so much care and love to my sweet maeby baby, but they were so kind and compassionate to me and my family as well. i have nothing but good things to say about this place and everyone who works here. they know what they’re doing, it’s as affordable as vet care can be in florida (they are also very sensitive when it comes to money, they know it’s hard to put a price on your pet babies but they just want to do what’s best for them and it shows) and your babies will always be in good hands. i could write a novel on how grateful i am for them. i am grieving hard still but everyone at meadowrun deserves the world. they are doing pet care correct. i cant say enough about it.

We’ve been bringing our dogs here for over six years, and I can’t imagine trusting anyone else with their care. They’ve been there through everything, from puppy visits, a spay, dental cleanings, and urgent appointments to helping coordinate specialty care when one of our dogs was diagnosed with cancer. Dr. Challenger has been our primary veterinarian, but we’ve seen several of the other veterinarians and veterinary technicians over the years, and every single one has been kind, knowledgeable, and genuinely cared about our dogs. Losing our older dog was heartbreaking, and the compassion we received throughout that process meant so much to us. When we brought home our new puppy, there was never any question where we’d take her. It’s so comforting to have a veterinary team that knows our dogs and truly cares about their health and well-being. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a veterinarian they can trust.
