Thank you for helping my pet.
I have a 11 month old Bullmastiff, named Bocce. Bocce is very inquisitive and has a way of getting into all sorts of trouble. I had been trying to leave Bocce uncrated for very short periods of time when I left the house. He seemed to be doing very well UNTIL one day that I left him for two hours. I removed all of the potential hazards (or so I thought) from the room, but when I returned home I found my living room covered with pillow stuffing. He had demolished 3 of the 4 throw pillows in the room. I hadn’t realized that he ate the stuffing until he started to vomit later on that evening. I took him to the vet, and they advised me to have a series of xrays taken to determine if he had an intestinal obstruction. I knew that this would be costly, and that the pet insurance would most likely not cover the xrays, because this was not an illness. I chose to have them take the xrays regardless. There was no obstruction found, only a belly full of stuffing. We had to play the waiting game to see if an obstruction would occur, and surgery would have to be performed, or if he would pass the stuffing without a problem. Thank God, he did not get an obstruction. I submitted a claim as a formality, and sure enough ASPCA Pet Health covered the occurrence. This was a blessing to me, and truly any time I have filed a claim or had to deal with ASPCA staff, it was a breeze. The staff there are very concerned and caring. Getting this coverage was one of the best doggie decision

Did not have insurance until..
I have 3 dogs, 12, 9 and 5, 2 x Beagles, 1 - Labradoodle
After the elder one had an ACL injury which cost us in excess of $900 my vet suggested we get insurance since these costs can mount up. So we did, about 2 months later the 12 year old grew a golf ball sized syst on her rear hind quarter which required surgery and labwork. This insurance kicked in and they paid a larger proportion of the costs.
I will never be without pet insurance again, ASPCA were very good to deal with and painless.

Very Satisfied
Very personal service, have had this insurance since 09 and had our first claims recently (bowel obstruction and foreign body ingestion). The explanation of benefits was very easy to understand which I really appreciate. All in all, so far, very satisfied with Embrace.

Coverage so I can do the right thing.
Last winter I had to put down my beloved Mocha because she had cancer that wasn't detected until it was too late. I had decided not to investigate why she was losing weight because I could not afford to-- I have a disability and live on a fixed income. She suffered silently for weeks before I even took her to the vet. When I adopted my new dog, Leo, I vowed never to be in a situation where I couldn't aford tests. I investigated pet insurance options, Trupanion had a monthly premium and deductable combination that I could afford, and it had the most coverage--90% of actual costs. I also liked that the premiums would not go up for submitting claims or as he got older. Three months after I adopted Leo, he got a potentially cancerous growth on his paw, but this time I could tell my vet to surgically remove and biopsy it.
The customer service at Trupanion was excellent. The representatives on the live chat were able to tell me that the fax of Leo's records had not been received, and I had time to have the vet resend the records the same day [the vet had misdialed.] They then called me to let me know the fax had just come through. Two days later the claims adjuster called to explain which expenses could becounted toward the claim so that I would understand why the amount I was awarded was a little diferent than what I requested. A few days later I got my check along with a clear writen explanation of benefits, just in time to pay my credit card. Leo's bioposy

What a Lifesaver!
Our dog Frisco had a recent bad run of events that left us with significant vet bills. My husband in unemployed and we are living off of a single income making ends meet. Thank god for the pet insurance, it has been a lifesaver! It was tough to take on the vet bills but working with a great company like Embrace helped to ease the pain. We have always been able to get ahold of someone when we had a question and they are wonderful at emailing confirmations and explanation of benefits for all the claims we submitted. If only our personal health insurance was so clear! Thanks Embrace for offering such wonderful service to help us take care of our furry family members, I recommed them to everyone we meet!
The 9/10 was just because our first claim took 15 days and a phone call to follow up to get processed...but when they did, they took care of all of our claims at once, even one we just submitted a few days ago!

1st Claim experience
I purchased Embrace for my 165 lb. Irish Wolfhound after getting clobbered with a $6,000 emergency bill for my 10 lb. kitty....When reading the fine print, I discovered Embrace had much better emergency coverage than many of the other plans. They have worked with my vet on pre-existing conditions. This was my first claim and I was interested to see if this was going to be covered and as easy of a process as they claimed. It definitely was!! I am very happy with their Customer Service. I sleep well nights knowing that my big boy should be taken care of during an emergency.

Quick re-imbursement with the wellness policy.
I just received an email that I will be getting a reimbursement for heartworm and tick prevention along with vet appointment cost. The response was fairly quick.
