Thanks Trupanion!! you were amazing!

Trupanion was amazing handling my puppies medical bills. I loved the face they would email me once they got the bill and then email me again letting me know everything was approved and they were mailing me the chq. Unfortunatily my puppy did not survive and passed away due to a narrow trachea. Only had him in my life for 3 weeks. they were the most amazing 3 weeks of my life with this little guy. Trupanion you were amazing and when the time is right and i get myself another puppy i will be getting my pet insurance from you!!!! thanks for the great survice!!!

Great service and coverage

My dog broke her leg. I faxed all the invoices for the medical expenses to Trupanion and immediately received periodic email updates on the status of my claim. The claim was approved and I received a check in the mail within one week. Trupanion has a great plan and customer service. The staff at the animal hospital also told me that Trupanion was the best plan for coverage and service.

Great Service!

My lab was limping and lethargic, turns out my Vet thought he had gotten bit by a snake. Luckily they were able to treat him and I had no concern about the cost of care and treatment because of Trupanion. Within a day I received an email saying they had received my claim and a week later I was reimbursed and all is well.

We were very relieved that we had this pet insuran

When our Vet recommed a free 30 day Trupanion pet insurance, we accepted it right away and it was a good thing we did. With in a week, our 7 week old Boxer puppy ate poison mushrooms and almost died. The Vet's were great and saved our Riley but the Vet bills totaled close to $1000. Thank God we had this insurance and today, we still contune to use it as we live on several acres in Central Oregon. You will never know when a problem will happen to your pet and the Vet bills can add up fast. We love our Riley so very much and will protect him for what ever it will take. We recomend this insurance because we never had a problem with Trupanion and their concern is not only with our pet but with its owners.

Trupanion saved our dog's life!

We rescued a 6 year old GSD in late 2010 and enrolled him in Trupanion shortly thereafter. A few months ago, we learned that he had a heartworm infection, and that his treatment would cost over $2000, an amount which would have been difficult for our family to afford. We went through the pre-approval process with Trupanion, and they approved our pre-approval request within 48 hours of receiving it. After the heartworm treatment, Trupanion reimbursed us for its cost about 3-4 days after we submitted the required paperwork. Thanks to Trupanion, we hope to enjoy many more healthy years with our beloved pet. Wish insurance companies for humans worked as fairly and efficiently as Trupanion!

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
