Service could not be better!

The vet faxed the claim form to TruPanion around 5 p.m. after BeBe's last visit. TruPanion acknowledged the claim the next morning and approved payment later in the day, 90% of approved charged (and most were approved) after any deductible.When I have talked with people in the office, they are helpful, courteous, and their love of animals shines through. Their office is, not surprisingly, pet friendly. I recommend TruPanion to everyone I meet who needs pet insurance--and in my opinion, if you have a pet, these days you need insurance.

Daisy

Trumps ion was very professional and expedited my claim very quickly. Daisy is still recovering and it is hoped she will be 100% very soon.

I Love Trupanions Quick Service

My dog Lucy had to have surgery to remove many large stones from her bladder. I submitted the bills to Trupanion and received my re-imbursement quickly. I love having this insurance for my dog

Life saver!

We have submitted multiple claims for our beloved Boxer Layla who needed multiple surgeries and inpatient stays for management of a complicated Luxating Patella. Every time we submitted a claim, Trupanion's response was fast, the staff was kind, and the claims were covered without any hassle. We would have never been able to afford to save Layla's leg without this insurance plan. I could never recommend them enough.

TruPanion check held at bank 7 days

4 month old Chihuahua puppy got bacterial pnuemonia. Vet and emergency charges over 2300.00 and TruPanion filed claim quickly paying 1037.00. I received several checks at one time but my bank stated they reject Trupanion checks. They told me they put a 7 day hold on mine only because I'm a long time good customer. Has anyone else had this problem?

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
