Pretty good
Cheyenne has hyperthyroidism and is taking medication for this. Trupanion is pay, I believe, 90% of the costs after the deduction.

Peace of mind
I can't imagine not providing the best care possible for my pets. And Trupanion allows me to do so without any worries. Thank you for making this process so easy and quick. it made us focus more on the care for our dog than worrying about the cost.

Most complete pet coverage available
I have this insurance for both of my pets, a dog & a cat. I have found this to be the friendliest and most compassionate insurance service available for pets. They act like they actually CARE about my pets and their well-being, their continued good health. The coverage is quite reasonable and leaves me with a worry-free feeling about my pets and their future medical needs. Most claims are reimbursed within a reasonable amount of time too. Thank you Trupanion!

Awesome company!
I'm so glad I have Trupanion for all of my pets! They are so quick to process claims and I can always count on them covering 90% of the bill besides the exam, that I never have to worry that I will be able to cover my pets' medical bills and never have to think twice before going for whatever option is best for my furry children! The monthly premiums are a small price to pay for peace of mind!

Coverage
One simple plan covers new injuries and illnesses, hereditary, congenital, and chronic conditions—once the deductible is met, Trupanion pays 90% of the remaining invoice.

Payout Limits
Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.
Deductible
You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget.
Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.
Age Limits
All pets under 14 years old can enroll.
Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Accidents: 5 days
Illnesses: 30 days
Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.
Exclusions
Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries. That means we don’t cover “predictable” care costs that you can plan ahead for, like:
Examination fees
Wellness and preventive care
Elective, or cosmetic procedures
Sales tax, where applicable
Like all pet insurance providers, Trupanion does not cover pre-existing conditions. Whichever insurer you choose, it pays to enroll early!
