Best insurance ever

We rescued our Stella and signed her up with Trupanion the day she arrived here. She arrived with a clean bill of health and was taken to our regular vet to make sure all was ok. And it was. At 6 months old she went to be spayed and a pre-surgical work up detected a heart issue had developed. So as it goes she visits a cardio specialist every 6 months and is on a daily medication. Trupanion covers 90% of all her bi-annual testing and medications. I submit my claim and within 3 days the reimbursement is deposited directly to my bank account. They are the best and I recommend Trupanion pet insurance to all of my friends and family. Will never be without them. And Stella is happy and healthy and with their help we can keep her that way!!!

This Company is AMAZING!

I adopted 2 (3.5 months old) german shepherd mix puppies online...littermates. I did some research, had bad experiences with other companies, and picked TRUPANION as my pet's insurance. BEST DECISION I EVER MADE! They are wonderful. One of the pups had hip dysplasia in both hips. He had to have BOTH hips done,replacement hip surgery. The other pup swallowed a rock and needed emergency surgery. After this he developed epilepsy. Trupanion covered all of it. They are professional and caring. Very easy and pleasant to work with. I HAVE NEVER SEEN A COMPANY PROCESS A CLAIM/PAYMENT SO FAST! I love Trupanion. They rescued my puppies too. Thank you Trupanion...I am ever so grateful!

One word - Fantastic!

Hello, we have a f our year old black and white male, who on June 21st of this year had his first seizure. He had 4 seizures in total and with the combined help of our vet and VEC, he is doing much better. Every time we called Trupanion, we had a short wait time and then friendly, compassionate Customer Service Reps, which made it alot easier for us. Winston is doing better and on meds, which Trupanion pays 90% promptly. We are grateful for pet insurance and we would highly recommend Trupanion to anyone who asks!! I have been a Customer Service Rep for 22 years and know how difficult the job is, especially when you are dealing with emotional people. We were always treated with kindness and respect. Kudos to Trupanion!!

Outstanding, animals come first!

We are so pleased your company ..it's service and benefits are incredible. When I call with a question, the people are so friendly, caring, informed, and helpful. I get the sense that you only hire true animal-lovers. There is certain authentic amd genuine concern for both my pet and us!

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
