Oncology West Vet

Hi, My pet is a cancer survivor thanks to Trupanion and West Veternarian. He had a miraculous surgery (Dr. Szentimrey), chemothrapy and is now on oral drugs. The staff at West Vet are fantastic in the oncology unit (Dr. G. Maudlin) and the techs (Jenn and others). And Trupanion have been absolutely true to their word. No limit on claims, deductible once, 90% (except taxes and consultations). They've proceesed claims with West Veternarin on the same day and provided us with clarification and information right away.

Quick and efficient

My vet filled out the claim and faxed it. I received a email from Trumpanion the following day with a breakdown of the claim. Received the check 2 days later.

10/10 Outstanding

Our 6 1/2 year old mixed breed Abbey, fractured her left rear leg and dislocated her toes chasing after a squirrel. She now has a metal plate and a half dozen small screws in the foot area. When one signs up for the program one hopes that the insurance and service is as advertised. It was that and more with Trupanion. All claims have been paid promptly making the financial burden a little less worrisome. Abbey is on the road to recovery but not quite there yet. I am confident that Trupanion will be there should she need more help.

Helpful and Compassionate

I love Trupanion. I have been with them for about three years now and they have been wonderful when I have needed them. My little dog does not get sick too often (thank the Lord) but when she has gotten sick, they have been so helpful immediately. She had an accident and got all four metacarpal bones in her right front paw broken. What a relief Trupanion's assistance has been. I have had to send in two claims for this so far and both times they have processed and mailed me a check within just a few hours of my submitting it to them. They are absolutely wonderful and so very compassionate with my feelings when Hannah first got hurt and all through this rough time. Thank you Trupanion for being there. Having you as my insurance company has really eased my mind of the financial burdens I have now with the vet bills adding up. Just love ya!!!

My two-year old Fletcher would not have received Emergency Care when Addison Disease threatened his early life last winter. If Trupanion had not come forward as the savior, my beloved goldendoodle might not have survived and thrived.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
