All around awesome

Zeke our puppy had a sore that got infected on his chin. We took him to the vet and found it was infected and he had a high fever. We got antibiotics for him but a day later he started to vomit and quit eating completely. They were unsure what had caused this but he developed Pancreatitis. After some more medication and low fat diet he is on the road to recovery. Trupanion was great getting the claim processed in such a hurry. I recommend trupanion to everyone. We thank them greatly.

Simply the best Pet Insurance

Other than obviously getting my dog, TruPanion was one of the best decisions I've ever made. Claims are processed within a day or two, and a reimbursement check arrives soon after. Customer support: A+

Faith in Trupanion

There was a process to have our claim accepted. I wouldn't give up believing Trupanion would come through! Their reputation precedes them. We love our Bull Dog so much. And want the best care for him. With Trupanion personnel, we took care of him. His surgery was covered! I just tell everyone that has a dog to get insurance with Trupanion!

Very Positive Experience

My dog was having trouble urinating and it turned out he had developed some bladder stones. I had to put him into the Emergency Clinic over the weekend and then his regular Vet performed surgery the following week. Needless to say, this ran into some serious money. This was my first claim with Trupanion and I wasn't sure how to go about it, but I called and the rep helped me fill out the claim form over the phone. She was really helpful. All I had to do then was email copies of the bills. I got everything settled in about two weeks and was very happy with the claim settlement. Having this policy made it possible for me to get the best medical care for my dog, so I consider it an excellent investment. Would definitely recommend Trupanion for any pet owner.

Thank god for Trupanion

Roxy had blood in her urine. Turns out she had a bladder infection with a resistant organism. We had to put her on a very expensive antibiotic because it was the only one the bug was sensitive to. Now it turns out she also has bladder stones and will need surgery. Once the initial review was done by Trupanion, the multiple claims were paid almost instantly, within a day or two. So comforting to know that money is one thing I don't have to worry about when I am already so worried about my baby!

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
