Policy transition
Since I mentioned that I was a past Canadian policy holder when I transitioned Liam from the US to the Canadian policy, I was not expecting an sign up fee. It seemed like I had to get snarky with your company for them to check my past policy and, indeed realize that I was not a new client. That could have been handled more efficiently, faster, and with less attitude than it did. I also should mention that I am a veterinarian and that we are the profession that gets you most of your clients through our recommendations when a client asks about insurance for their pets. This should translate into not only respect but also a professional discount as there are more and more pet insurance companies to choose from and we hold the choice for which company our clients choose.
