WORST INSURANCE EVER - SCAMMERS

They are the biggest scammers. They always try to find little things here and there to make sure they dont cover anything. When you call them, they are very rude, they dont treat you as customer, they think you are their dogs. Their claim reviewing team is the worst. They make up excuses and come up with the worst excuses to avoid paying you. Its like they are trained to go against you. Please stay away from them. Im going to file a dispute against them.

I never know what to expect when I put…

I never know what to expect when I put in a claim. Last year my dog was limping. Through the diagnosis process we saw several vets and there was debate about the cause of the limping. In the end, it was found to be a muscle tear. Trupanion refused to combine my claims despite the agreement that the condition was ONE SINGLE CONDITION AND EPISODE and made me pay 3 deductibles even after a letter from my vet explaining the situation. They are a business and don't care how much money they suck out of you.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
