10 years and counting.

Our precious puppy is now almost 11. We had never even considered pet insurance for my other 6 dogs throughout my lifetime, until we got this new puppy. Presented in 2009, we signed up,and have never looked back. Service is prompt. Coordination with our vet is easy. Payment is almost immediate. They were there for her immunity and skin issues. Her rare fungal infection that almost took her life. Her dental complications. And now into her senior years, whatever that will hold for us. Trupanion - the truest care companion for your pet companion!

I like the policy it is fair and covers a lot of things.

I like the policy, it is fair and covers a lot of things. It might cost more but it is peace of mind. I cross referenced for months before deciding on Trupanion, doing extensive research. They don't exclude preexisting conditions, they pay immediately. I chose to go with a higher deductible and lower monthly payments because the likelihood of something happening means I save money in the long run. They don't exclude breed specific genetic conditions/illnesses. Getting coverage for things like annual check ups, preventative medications just means it is in the higher monthly charge so not worthwhile to me. Hopefully I will never have to worry and my dogs will pass when they have lived a whole life and hopefully without any issues. I lost my boy to sudden nasal cancer or Aspergillosis- the vet wasn't sure. From the rapid onset and decline he lingered with us for a week after his symptoms began. Saving him wasn't an option. In both cases of cancer with my dogs, by the time it became evident it was far too late. With that in mind, should something be detected early enough with a good prognosis, no suffering, I would want to know that I would be able to treat any of my dogs. As careful as one can be things sometimes just occur. I put my dogs first, their loyalty, purity and utter embodiment of love and joy motivates me to do everything I can to try to ensure that they will have the best care.

Trupanion is the best for your pet.

My pet dog has number of health issues in the past 9 years. His vet bills are really high. Thank you to Trupanion, they are always on top every time I sent in my claims and within 3-4 days, I get my 90% reimbursement directly deposited into my bank account. Trupanion definitely relieved part of my stress and worries financially. Did a lot of research on pet insurance when I first got my dog as a puppy. So happy and lucky I decided on going with Trupanion. Don't delay your decision getting your pet insurance with Trupanion. They are 100% reliable and hassle free when you make your claims. Let me tell you, vet bills can be extremely expensive. My daughter recently got a puppy, she too got her pet insurance from Trupanion.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
