Where I submitted so many receipts at once in two claims it was very confusing to get almost 10 separate claim emails it is hard to determine how much I am actually getting back from this claim

I have written to you - I have asked who decides on claims assessments and I have received no responses.

I have written to you - I have asked who decides on claims assessments and I have received no responses. Who are your expert assessors? Rhyse is but a messenger - but he did I think cut me off on the phone. I have received a condescending email with an appeals form from Rhyse who implies that I cut him off which I did not - I also heard laughter in the background when I was asking him who assessed the claims. You have a very rude call center. I have submitted the appeal, my VET has submitted the appeal, my Vet has communicated with Trupanion and has also clarified the difference of diagnosis. I am still waiting to know and hear from those who assessed the claim and rejected it on the basis of being the same condition (which as my Vet says, is clearly not) - and how they arrived at the rejection. I am open to Trupanion's medical expertise explanation because Rhyse assured me on the phone that they were experts.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
