BEST PET INSURANCE HANDS DOWN!!
I don’t know what to say? Trupanion literally has saved my pet Doberman Jett’s life. I’m not sure what we would have done without Trupanion insurance. What we have gone through over the last 2 1/2 years was nothing short of the worst times as a multiple pet owner could experience!!!
I tell EVERYONE a brief history on our ordeal and how HAPPY & PLEASED that Trupanion was in our corner from day one in October 2018 when he had his accident.

A great experience in a tough time.
My best friend Koji has been insured with trupanion since she was a puppy. Anytime anything came up or I had a question it was like calling a best friend, the claims person I spoke to was more concerned about how Koji was doing than the claim going in. Anytime I have had to submit a claim everything has been exactly as they advertised it will no hassle, which usually goes hand and hand with insurance claims. Recently we had to say good bye to my best friend after her short battle with cancer. Through out it all claims were submitted, processed and paid as if they knew it was the last thing I needed to be thinking about throughout the heart wrenching experience.
When I'm ready to bring another dog into my life I will not think twice about signing up with trupanion.
I want to pass along my sincere appreciation for making finances the last thing I had to worry about while I was saying goodbye to my best friend.

Monthly cost varies due to multiple factors including: species, breed, age at enrollment, gender, and postal code.
Coverage
One simple plan covers new injuries and illnesses, hereditary, congenital, and chronic conditions—once the deductible is met, Trupanion pays 90% of the remaining invoice.

Payout Limits
Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.
Deductible
You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget.
Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.
Age Limits
All pets under 14 years old can enroll.
Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Accidents: 5 days
Illnesses: 30 days
Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.
Exclusions
Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries. That means we don’t cover “predictable” care costs that you can plan ahead for, like:
Examination fees
Wellness and preventive care
Elective, or cosmetic procedures
Sales tax, where applicable
