I had a couple of phone calls with Trupanion regarding the breeder rider program just recently. My initial phone call was just some basic questions and information about the program, fees, deductibles, etc. And had a great chat with the representative. However, they forgot to inform me of enrollment dates and waiting periods, with breeding females specifically, despite that I had mentioned critical information. Not the end of the world but I was a bit panicky... I reached out the following day to request a manager to go over the information and my call was not returned. I phoned back today and spoke with Kevin Miller, a manager. He was fantastic to deal with, friendly, and very approachable over the phone. He listened attentively to my long garble of information but took my concerns seriously. He let me know he would look into the matter for me and call me back. A few hours later Kevin calls back to let me know that he was going to update my policy/enrollment date (with back pay to that date, which I was completely ok with!). Fastest delivery of some top-notch customer service. I really can't thank Kevin enough for the hard work he did today to rectify my mundane situation. It is hard work being a responsible and reputable breeder, and Trupanion should be recognized for the support that they offer - especially considering it is the only pet insurance that helps cover that. Thank you Kevin and thank you Trupanion for making that difference!! Game changer.
