You can never go wrong with Trupanion!!!
I've heard from people that pets don't need an insurance and that you can put money aside instead for a rainy day. TRUST ME when I say this. You can never be financially prepared without an insurance. Not every pet is the same. Some pets like my pup would be more sensitive and more prone to fall ill or decide to bite off a sharp pin from under the couch and swallow it in under 3 seconds. Do you have any idea how much it costs for an endoscopy to take a foreign object out of their stomach? It's ridiculously expensive and you don't want to go through it without insurance. But thanks to Trupanion, they paid for the treatment and saved her life which otherwise would have been a huge hit to my wallet. Paying $100 or less a month is any day better than an unexpected $6000 bill destabilizing your budget. And the best part of Trupanion Pet Insurance is that there is no maximum claim limit for a specific illness/ treatment. While the deductible is reset for each condition/ treatment, it's still awesome to know that you'll never run out of claim limit. A small premium you pay for your peace of mind.

I am not sure I can truly express how…
I am not sure I can truly express how impressed I am with the service Trupanion provided. I was skeptical with pet insurance, as a lot of folks are. But all I can say is thank the heavens I decided to sign up last month. I was just approaching the 1 month mark when my pup Peaches decided she would eat a foreign object. I brought her to the vet, I told the tech in passing, I just signed up with Trupanion last month. She had surgery to remove the object, and by the time I picked her up at supper, I had received a text from Trupanion that $1,116 of my claim was covered. I was truly shocked considering I didn't even submit the invoice, it was all completed by my vet's office, with something I said in passing. So to say I was impressed is an understatement. Between the vet's office and Trupanion, I am one happy customer! Thanks again. And Peaches is recovering nicely.

Monthly cost varies due to multiple factors including: species, breed, age at enrollment, gender, and postal code.
Coverage
One simple plan covers new injuries and illnesses, hereditary, congenital, and chronic conditions—once the deductible is met, Trupanion pays 90% of the remaining invoice.

Payout Limits
Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.
Deductible
You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget.
Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.
Age Limits
All pets under 14 years old can enroll.
Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.
Waiting Period
Accidents: 5 days
Illnesses: 30 days
Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.
Exclusions
Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries. That means we don’t cover “predictable” care costs that you can plan ahead for, like:
Examination fees
Wellness and preventive care
Elective, or cosmetic procedures
Sales tax, where applicable
