I would not give these people a dime…

I would not give these people a dime for pet Insurance. After being with Trupanion for 7 years and 32000,00 dollars later they would not cover my dog's first ever claim. At first it was a success and I would have highly recommend them bei g they were there for my first dog, but after 7 years of dedication to their insurance for my pets and thousands of dollars later I sent in a claim for I e of my dog's who by the way I never sent in any big claim on her just odd medication and little thing's but when it came down to a big claim they refused my claim. Now I knew I was covered being it was in my claim but I thought I better call just to check make sure it was correct. Well according to my records and theirs I was. So I sent my first claim in and they refused it and when I confronted them on it they would not even consider covering my claim, I was a bit angry and disappointed with their desision and how they handled the whole situation so I decided it was time to cancel and find a new and better company. You would think after 7 years and 32000,00 later they would cover 500.00 dollars worth but nope they didn't and to top it off I praised them up and told everyone I knew about them and I am well known in the animal industry let's just put that out there as well. Well I am sorry now and they also decided to put my rates up to 80.00 within 3 months for both animals I had covered and kept going up and up. Another fault in their behalf.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
