I cant express enough gratitude to Trupanion. A true, human and kind company

I purchased insurance for my pooch 13 years ago when he was a puppy. I didnt need to claim for years. But in the last 3 years my poor and unlucky dog had to have 3 herniated disk surgeries. Each en every time trupanion came true to help. I could focus on my dog rehab rather than worry about money. Today I received the funds for his last surgery and I cried of joy. Thank you Trupanion.

Trupanion kept her alive.

Rossi was diagnosed with bone cancer about 18 months ago. The prognosis was very poor. She passed quietly yesterday. She easily had an extra year of high quality life with us. Through Trupanion, she received the utmost in care. They had her back through the entire treatment. This was a great burden relieved from the family. The claims system worked directly with the various hospitals. It was very fast. I cannot express how impressed I have been with Trupanion.

Great Company. Very responsive.

Very responsive and very quick reimbursement. Great company to work with. My cat has insulin resistant diabetes and Trupanion has covered all the medication and testing. I am retired on a fixed income and without Trupanion I would not be able to afford the care for my cat.

Coverage

Payout Limits

Unlimited lifetime payouts on eligible conditions with no payout limits-ever.

Deductible

You can choose your deductible from $0 – $1000, in $5 increments, to fit your budget. Trupanion offers a lifetime, per condition deductible meaning that once the deductible is met for an eligible condition, you never have to meet it again. That condition is covered for life. This is great for chronic conditions that can span the entirety of a pet’s life such as allergies or cancer.

Age Limits

All pets under 14 years old can enroll. Once enrolled, pets stay insured regardless of age.

Waiting Period

Accidents: 5 days Illnesses: 30 days Other providers may have additional waiting periods for congenital conditions like hip dysplasia, Trupanion does not.

Exclusions

Trupanion was developed to protect you and your pet from unexpected illnesses and injuries.
