Worst insurance company ive ever dealt with. Because I tried to add my wife as we are buying a new vehicle and they canceled my account. Says there a canadian company on the phone line. But im calling a usa phone number. And the rules for adding a new person seam very different then any canadian company's ive walked through the door and dealt with. Sonnet is definitely not worth any Canadians time..

I’ve been trying to cancel my insurance with Sonnet for the past month, and it’s been an absolute nightmare. They make it unnecessarily difficult to cancel; you can’t do it online, you have to call them. Even worse, you can only cancel once you’ve received your renewal notice, which comes 38 days before renewal. From what I understand, you then only have about 3 days to cancel before the renewal takes effect, which is incredibly unreasonable. I’ve spent countless hours on the phone trying to reach someone, and it’s nearly impossible to get through. Their contact information is also hard to find, but if you’re stuck in the same situation, their number is 1-888-772-3272. Overall, I would not recommend Sonnet Insurance to anyone and will definitely not be doing business with them again.
