Sonnet Insurance Review and Comments
The customer service girl was excellent in handling my queries. What I did not like was having to verify myself to their AI, giving my b'date with my voice. Too many scams using your voice. Also, when selling your home and cancelling your insce policy, Sonnet's "cancellation penalty"--is extremely hard to understand and calculate. I'd hate to pay for most of my total premium if I'm selling. Sonnet needs to make this better--as the current policy is GROSSLY unfair, in my opinion. Other than that, I like the ease of insuring and being able to update my coverage as needed. I have 3 properties and have been insured for 4 years. Thanks.

I DID discuss your policy at length with your agent. I stand by my comments that if you have a policy with Sonnet--and you sell your home, you are charged a "cancellation fee" percentage according to how many days you have paid on that policy for your current term. So for example in the scenario I discussed with your agent---my penalty was going to be 64% of my $ 1224.00 policy =$ 784.36--which is totally unacceptable in my view. Sonnet should have a better cancellation policy for their LOYAL customers who sell their home. NOT for someone simply cancelling to go elsewhere.Thanks ...L.S.
