Poor communication, customer service and lack of responsiveness

I had a collision (hit and run) on June 15th and completed the claim online in the app on June 15th and the report with the Collision Reporting Centre on June 16th. The adjuster took a whole week to call me and never answers his phone. Initially the repairs to my vehicle were approved. This morning (July 2nd) the repair shop called me to tell me that Sonnet has withdrawn the approval and they need another approval to proceed with repairs. No one from Sonnet called or emailed me to tell me this and when I spoke to a new adjuster this morning (file was transferred to her) she doesn’t know why her colleague withdrew the approval and she was not given the correspondence or dash cam footage from the previous adjuster. Poor customer service. Other companies might be a bit more expensive but will be more responsive if you have a claim.

Avoid, look elsewhere...

They severely increased the fee for my potential 3rd year with them, although I have a clean file and a mainstream car (RAV4 2022), from 1400 to 2100 and wanted to charge me 3600... Required a policy cancellation and more than 2 weeks afterwards, it is still not cancelled and they even charged me the 3600$ on my credit card... Had to make a 2nd request with their customer service to bring my issue to the admin. Bitterly disappointed and I strongly suggest to avoid this company

Quick and efficient!

I loved how fast, accurate and easy it was to get a quote and to buy the coverage! I felt confident in the policies I was getting and I love the ease of the online portal. I’ve been considering switching for 2 years and after a rough year with my prior provider I knew it was time when my policies came up for renewal.
