My dog got sick was treated at our Vet I paid the bill. I submitted the bill on line for Reimbursement. No hassles I received a payment by direct deposit that I set up earlier. Great company would definitely recommend.

We have a 6 month old puppy and we…

We have a 6 month old puppy and we decided on a whim to get pet insurance from from Pumpkin as it was highly recommended by a friend. Weeks after beginning our coverage, we had an accident and our puppy needed emergency vet attention and surgery. Pumpkin handled our claim hassle free and the reimbursement was more than we expected. That was a huge relief especially after all that we had been through with the accident! We are recommending Pumpkin to everyone. Thank you Pumpkin!

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
