My original contact w Pumpkin did not…

My original contact w Pumpkin did not go well, I reached out to cancel then recd email response asking for details. I replied but i never heard back. A young man reached out to me eventually and he was most helpful and professional. I am hopeful this will be a good experience, it is my first time to have pet insurance.

Responsive humans, fast claim processing

Pumpkin has humans who pick up the phone with the knowledge to help, and fast, fair payment for claims. I chose the company because they matched what i needed from insurance and the price is fair. They have been a delight to work with in every case so far. I don't hesitate to recommend people bringing their business here

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
