There is a lot of information to try to…
There is a lot of information to try to figure out what it needed and what is necessary. You want to make an informed decision on what insurance is best for you and your pet. I wish it were more clear and concise as to what is covered and what is not.

I have a lot going on in my life …
I have a lot going on in my life and I forgot that the billing was already set up for monthly premiums so when I set up my account, I called and asked about billing. Kelli was very helpful and reminded me that the premium would be put on my credit card on the 9th of
every month and I would receive an acknowledgement.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
