For Astro
Shortly after moving into our new home, Astro, who has had a history of urinary crystals had another block. It was his third in two months. We made a tough decision to go through with a perineal urothostomy after the change of diet wasn’t working. He has since recovered great but at the time we were anxious and Pumpkins claims team made it a very seamless process. I wouldn’t choose any other coverage for our cats. Thanks Pumpkin

Love Pumpkin pet insurance and Trustpilot!!!
I liked that there were so many options to choose from. I've never bought pet insurance for my dogs in the past, but I decided to with my new puppy. It was great that I could choose exactly what I wanted covered. (I chose the illness as well as the wellness). Trustpilot provides you with the information you need to help make the right decisions.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
