Pet Insurance - Wellness plan not as advertised! .
All my questions were answered and the online purchase was smooth.
Update 10/4/24: I filed my 1st Wellness claim and many of the services covered under the Preventive Esstentials Plan were denied because my vet bundled Fecal, bloodwork, and urinalysis. Therefore they denied the annual vet exam that is advertised to be reimbursed at 100%, they denied the rabies and Lyme disease vaccines, also to be covered at 100%! Because the vet bundled tests, Pumpkin refunded my Preventitive Essentials premium and essentially covered nothing, as if I never had the Preventitive Esstentials plan at all.
WARNING: discuss with your vet on how they bill before submitting a claim!

It is complicated and amazing how each insurance product includes or excludes items.
As terrible as accidents are, the failure of all the insurance products to me is coverage for wellness. Most do have a wellness policy, but if you do the math then it is really just prepaying to loose money, break even, or maybe save $50 a year.

Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
