Customer service was great when our…
Customer service was great when our baby got sick and was hospitalized. Claim was very easy and payment was made promptly. I highly recommend Pumpkin insurance.

Pumpkin Insurance: don't miss out on great coverage!
We have carried Pumpkin Insurance on our dog Toby since he was 10 weeks old. We have never regretted signing up for Pumpkin because accidents and illnesses happen and you don't want to have to make the choice if you can afford the proper care or not. We have never hesitated getting the best care for our Toby because Pumpkin has been great and they have super helpful claims representatives. The turn around times on their claims is phenominal. I recommend Pumpkin to all my friends who get a dog. You won't regret it!
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
