Pumpkin is a great insurance package

I am excited to keep our new dog protected. Although he has a pre-existing condition, I am comfortable that when other problems arise, I will have good support from Pumpkin. We also have the Preventive Essentials package which will give us support for vaccines, fecals, and his heartworm checks!

My cat got sick last month

My cat got sick last month, and his bills were racking up so I thought, hey, let's get some pet insurance so we don't run into this again! He passed away within hours of buying a Pumpkin policy. The customer service member who took care of my abrupt cancelation made it so easy and gave me a full refund, no questions only condolences. Thank you, Pumpkin. I'll be back when another furry friend enters my life ❤

We just signed up our two dogs

We just signed up our two dogs; a Shepherd and Poodle. After comparing many different plans and options, Pumpkin seemed to best fit our pups’ needs. So far so good.

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
