I could not be happier with the quality…

I could not be happier with the quality and speed of service provided by Pumpkin Pet Insurance. As a pet parent, knowing that I don’t have to struggle with the high costs associated with emergency veterinary services allows me to get my pets the care they urgently need without the added stress of trying to figure out how to pay for needed care.

It's fast and easy to file a claim and they're on it!

I've had Pumpkin for a little while now. This is the first time I've tuned in a claim. It was for the annual wellness check up for my dog, Remy. They were quick to acknowledge the claim and got a check out to us right away. It was so easy to file online, just follow their steps. Thanks, Pumpkin!

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
