Pumpkin is always quick to review claims, is reasonable cost for peace of mind for pet owners. Their website is user friendly and I like they offer different type programs to fit everyone’s needs.

Pumpkin has great customer service

Pumpkin has great customer service. When I took my cat to the vet, and submitted my claim, Pumpkin turned it around in two days. They followed up to see how my kitty was doing, which I thought was kind of them.

I had rush my dog in for emergency…

I had rush my dog in for emergency surgery for bloat which would have killed her. With pumpkin I was able to get her all the care she needed and I had peace of mind know that with the insurance she would get that coverage. I have and will continue to suggest pumpkin to anyone and everyone who has pets. Thanks

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
