TOO MUCH STRESS AND TOO MANY ERRORS! Renter's insurance and vehicle insurance MUST PROVIDE WHAT MY PARENTS AND MY GRANDPARENTS PAID FOR COVERAGES WE EARNED. ~

It is such a pleasurable company to do…

It is such a pleasurable company to do business with from top to bottom. Every time interact with the customer service department I am floored with how professional and genuinely caring they are. Those people really love pets and helping their owners! Also it doesn’t hurt that they not only offer more coverage than any other pet insurance company but they offer it at the best prices! Thank you!

Cat Rescued from Gas Station Living

Cat Rescued from Gas Station Living. Pumpkin covered his dental extractions upon adoption and they did not declare his condition pre-existing. Recently he had surgery for a sinus condition-- injury related. 1800.00. I had paid my deductible and premiums for the year. They denied it for pre-existing dental issues. I Appealed it and the vet proved in a letter that this was not a dental - the xray showed injury and abscess around his sinus, causing issues to breathing in his left nostril. The appeal was denied due to pre-existing dental. This isn't right. They aren't trustworthy. I will not be renewing with them.

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
