What would the world be like if everything worked like this

I have never had pet insurance before but call my vet to ask for suggestions. They mentioned pumpkin so I checked them out online. I liked that they offered preventative(wellness) coverage. When I took my cat to the vet for his wellness appointment that day I submitted the invoice to pumpkin. By the next day I knew what they would reimburse and why. By the second day I had the funds available in my account. If human insurance worked this well and quick I think less people would complain about it.

Excellent dog insurance

After the initial few months of getting all the proper paperwork submitted by myself and his Vet (I wasn't aware they also had to submit paperwork to you), we are extremely pleased with Pumpkin and the quick turnaround of reimbursement for our qualified bills.

Monthly Cost

Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.

Coverage

Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.

Payout Limits

Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.

Deductible

3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000

Age Limits

No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.

Waiting Period

Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).

Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
