Thankful for Pumpkin Insurance
I was honestly skeptical when I first filed the claim for Odie who herniated a disk in his neck chasing a squirrel of all things. Every communication I've had with Pumpkin was great. Each Agent gave me assurance that my claim was being processed and that gave me peace of mind. Once I filed the claim it was paid within days. Thank you Pumpkin Insurance for being there when we needed you. They fulfilled their promise and I cannot ask for anything more.

I have 100% confidence with Pumpkin for my pets!
Wonderful experience with having Pumpkin for my cats! My emotional support cat had to have major surgery, so I was already stressed out of my mind and Pumpkin made it so easy that I didn't have to stress about the bill.
The percentage of coverage was exactly as they said it would be, no questions asked, which is nice knowing that there's a human on the other side of the email and phone numbers.
HIGHLY recommend getting your fur baby covered! You'll thank yourself.
Monthly Cost
Plans start as low as $30 per month. Prices vary based on plan type, pet breed, age, and location.
Coverage
Every pet is covered by a 90% reimbursement rate to make it easier to say “yes” to the best possible care.
Payout Limits
Annual limits of $10,000, $20,000 or unlimited for dogs and $7,000, $15,000 or unlimited for cats.
Deductible
3 options: $100, $250, $500 and $1000
Age Limits
No upper age limits. Pets must be at least 8 weeks old to enroll.
Waiting Period
Insurance coverage begins 14 days after your policy begins for all conditions, including knee/ligament issues where some other policies make you wait 6 months for coverage. No waiting periods for preventive care (in fact, depending on when you received the care, you may be eligible for a retroactive refund).
Exclusions
Pre-existing conditions are not covered. However, unlike some other pet insurances, Pumpkin’s plan covers some curable pre-existing conditions if symptom-free for 180 days, with the exception of knee and ligament conditions. For full terms, visit pumpkin.care/insurancepolicy.
