Concerning Experience
While I received my refunds and they were as expected in terms of the funds, I was very disappointed with the process in which the refunds were distributed. In the past you have automatically put the refunds into my account. Various times I went to check on the status of my refund and they said they were processed and the claims were closed. When I called to say I hadn’t received the money in my account the representative told me that checks were mailed. I was never notified that checks were issued and on their way rather than the automatic deposit. Additionally, the checks issued looked fake although the bank accepted them. Because of the look of the checks I had to take time from my schedule to actually go to a bank and deposit rather than deposit them into an atm or through my banking app. The whole process was frustrating and confusing and not what I’ve experienced in the past with you all which is concerning.
