Prudent Pet | Pet Insurance Review

I gave 5 stars because it was really easy to sign up for pet insurance. I had pet insurance but I had to quit my job for health reasons so I lost the pet insurance that I had with the monthly payments coming out of my paycheck.

Cindy was so helpful when going over the different policies offered and was straightforward with what she thinks is the best for my pets. She even helped me break down individual costs so I know exactly what I will be paying for monthly!

Stephanie was great! Answered all my questions and was pleasant and knowledgeable.

Things started out well until they billed an old credit card and then cancelled the policy. When they said they would reinstate the policy, nothing happened. You cannot change our payment method, only add more cards hoping they will use the correct one. They don't have direct deposit yet regardless that you fill out the form when you sign up. There is no customer service on weekends right now which if you have a questions and work during normal working hours, you are left hanging. They aren't the most expensive and aren't the least expensive, but the limited number of customer service reps they have aren't enough. Although they are very nice on the phone, but have no follow-through. They need to get better organized to handle the expectations of experienced pet owners and be able to compete in a very populated pet insurance market with savvy pet owners.
