Pets best takes to long to prosses…

Pets best takes to long to prosses simple claims and won't give pre-approval if surgery is needed. But they have no problems taking the premium out of your bank fast

Highly Recommend Pets Best Insurance!!

We are so thankful we made the decision to go with Pets Best Insurance for our dogs. We have more than recouped our investment due to one of our dogs having a medical condition that requires expensive medication. Would highly recommend for the peace of mind! They also make it so easy to submit a claim and receive reimbursement.

Great experience with PetsBest so far. Claim submission and process is super easy and plus plus on communicating promptly especially if anticipating delays on reimbursement for whatever factors. I have recommended PetsBest to families and friends so far!

I don't recommend pets best to any pet…

I don't recommend pets best to any pet owner, they barely cover any of our vet visits and it seems like every claim we put in is automatically listed as a preexisting condition. We had to ask our vet to write a letter of appeal in order to get anything covered. They take forever to process claims and whenever we get money back it's the bare minimum compared to what we paid for the visit.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
