Pets Best offers outstanding, affordable, coverage for my senior dog. The claims process has been easy an timely. Pets Best really seems to care about providing pet owners with affordable support needed to keep our pets healthy and happy, regardless of their age.

Reimbursement takes time.

I've kept all my payments prompt, but waiting so long for the reimbursement tends to bother me. I'm actually waiting on one now, from over 2 weeks ago.

Customer Service was Great!

Customer Service was Patient, Understanding, and Respectful. I took my Cats in for their initial Exam, Paid the Vet with my funds then, filed my claims a few days later - I was notified by email on what my insurance covered and received my claims pay directly to my Bank Account in a week. I am very pleased with my choice to go with Pets Best Insurance

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
