Pets best has enabled me to give mg dogs the best care!

The reimbursement has been fair and excellent. I was able to have my boxers back knees operated on and the insurance paid 90%. The communication is prompt and the website easy to navigate. Yes they have pre existing conditions just read the policy carefully! It’s very reasonable and justified.

No runaround, just good coverage.

I thought I’d never need insurance but in order to diagnose a minor illness (pancreatitis) my dog had X-rays and a CT scan done at an emergency vet. The bill was over $5,000. Pet’s Best covered the full 90% I signed up for. No fine print, no loopholes, just coverage when I really needed it. If you’re on the fence about getting insurance, this is your sign. Highly recommend.

Submitting claims could not be easier

Submitting claims could not be easier. I appreciate that the status of submitted claims can be followed from my customer portal. I am also very stisfied that claims are processed very quickly.

Run to another company!

Horrible company. Scam people into purchasing insurance and then deny claims for illnesses. Do not trust them with your pets' health. Go to another company! After calling the company based on the reply to this review. I am still convinced this company is not worth the money. I did cancel and have sent in an appeal to their denial of the claim. I will wait and see what happens now. I am sure, even though I attached an extensive letter from the specialist, that they will deny the claim since I cancelled the policy with them Run to another company! And check reviews before you sign with any of them. I should have done that, I would never have signed with them in the first place if I had.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
