They deserve zero stars and if I could…

They deserve zero stars and if I could save one person from losing their money and possibly their pet from this company then this review is worth it. They sold their company and changed our policy coverage to 5K they then raised our rates at least 30% every year so that we pay $166 a month now for a 7 year old dog and with the deductible you are lucky to get 2K coverage. Soon we will be at zero coverage because of their constant increases. They added another $3 transaction fee on top of things just to get more money back. If you can get them to process your bills that is also beyond tiresome. They will try to wear you down with things like, "your dogs name was misspelled on bill" when there is one letter off. Or we can't read the photo of the bill, or they will say they had trouble depositing your check. You name it they will shade you until you have no options left.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
