I have had my dogs covered with Pets…

I have had my dogs covered with Pets Best for over 5 years now and it has more than paid for itself every year. I compete in dog sports and the peace of mind knowing I don't ever have to make a decision based on money is well worth it. My claims have all been paid timely with no issues. Thank you!

The claims process has gotten much quicker in the last year. What used to take a few weeks is now done in a few days. The coverage is very simple to understand, so I have never had to dispute a claim. I always have an idea of what my claim will pay and it’s always been accurate.

Smooth processing

Claims are processed swiftly and customer service is professional and helpful. My most recent claim for my pup's ACL surgery was processed and paid within 3 weeks of the surgery. Bills are sent through Pet Bests app and they contact doctors for detailed info.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
