Pets Best Insurance Preexisting Denial
We bought Pets Best insurance for our 4 month old GSD puppy the day we adopted him. He developed intermittent lameness around a year old. U of I veterinarians examined him and he has CCL tear and we have him scheduled for surgery in January 2025. Pets Best denied the claim as PREEXISTING. We are still working with them to get their denial changed along with the help of the veterinarians. They have been reported to the BBB for falsely denying claims by many customers.

Olive....lives on
"Olive is my first dog that I've purchased a pet insurance policy on. She was approximately 6 months old when we signed up with Pets Best. Little did I know that my baby would utilize that policy for approximately 3 major surgeries and some specialty appointments down the road.
My baby is now 4 years old and I am so thankful she is still with me and of that decision made to purchase this pet insurance policy.
My experience with Pets Best has always been terrific, from uploading claims on their website to easy comprehension of the finished claim process notification.
In closing, I am so thankful for this policy because it allowed me to avoid the most difficult and painful decision that pet owners have to face when their beloved pet is in an emergency situation."

Pets best is the best pet insurance. I have been using them for over 5 years now. They cover almost everything and my monthly payment is very reasonable
Monthly Cost
$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.
Coverage
Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible.
Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states).
Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care.
24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies.
The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill.
Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method.
Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.
Payout Limits
$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan.
Unlimited lifetime limits.
Deductible
$50 – $1,000 annually.
Age Limits
Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll.
Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.
Waiting Period
A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Pre-existing conditions are not covered.
