As a Veterinarian, I go with Pet's Best

After leaving the Vet field after 10 years, I needed to buy insurance for my pets. I chose Pet's Best as my insurance carrier for my Pets in 2007 over all other providers.. I have been extremely satisfied with their timely response to any claims made, they are courteous, and genuinely concerned about my pets. I HIGHLY recommend them to anyone I know looking for coverage for their pets.

The BEST customer service in pet insurance.

Had a question regarding a claim and the customer care person was able to assist me to my complete and utter satisfaction. She was so nice and personally checked to make sure my recent claim came through. I've been so happy with Pets Best I even added a new pet I recently acquired.

Covered TWO ACL Surgeries AND Arthritis!!

I have been absolutely delighted with Pets Best Insurance. The insurance has helped with not one but two ACL surgeries on our Australian shepherd. As she has grown older she has also had arthritis issues and PB has covered some of her medicine costs. I purchased my policy when my dog was young, but certainly have been most appreciative of their financial assistance as she has grown older. This is just the best insurance policy.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
