Love knowing my cats are protected

Best thing I ever did was buy insurance from Pets Best Insurance. I only wish I had known about them sooner--it would have helped me so much. If you don't think it makes sense to insure your cat, you're wrong. Don't wait!

Saved our little puppy's life!

My partner Greg and I started to freak out when our little Diogi, who was a was only a year old, almost died from Inflammatory Bowel Disease and a protein disorder. How could she get so sick so fast? She was having issues retaining her plasma, She ended up needing a transfusion, long term recovery and lifelong meds. Between VCA Rancho Mirage and Pets Best, all our financial issues were resolved quite quickly and Diogi got the best care possible. For roughly $60.00 monthly, the peace of mind is worth every penny. A heartfelt "thank you" goes out to everyone at Pets Best and VCA Rancho Mirage for saving our dogs life. It's our belief that if not for Pets Best and VCA, our puppy would not be here today.

BEST pet insurance out there

My experiences with Pets Best insurance have all been fantastic. Their customer service department is very friendly and helpful, and their claims processing turnaround is remarkably fast. Unfortunately, I have had to use this extensively this year and I am 110% satisfied with the speed of reimbursement and the hassle free processing. I have had no issues with costly denials as with other insurances and I will ALWAYS have my pets insured through this wonderful insurance.

No one is faster or better

Fantastic, swift turnaround of bill to payment. Really appreciate this. These people understand that when you need your reimbursements back, you need them back QUICKLY. The best. Paid thousands of dollars in my claims. Don't wait until it's too late for insurance.

Good luck finding nicer customer reps!

I had questions about submitting a claim, and I talked to Sharon (I asked for her name because she was so awesome!) and she helped me to understand the process and was great to talk to. Pets Best has always taken care of my high dollar claims. Good payouts!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
