Pets Best | Pet Insurance Review

My dog had a sock obstruction and required emergency surgery at 2am on a Sunday morning. As stressful as the situation was, it was a relief to know that I had insurance to help with the upcoming bill. What I was unsure of, however, was how well the claim would be handled, as I had never used the insurance before. I can happily say, that the service I received from Pet's Best far exceeded my expectations. They have a customer for life!!

I had always been told that per insurance was a waste of money and not worth the cost. When we got an English bulldog we decided to go ahead and try pet insurance for a year. That was the best decision we ever made! Pets best is the wonderful. It is easy to file, they process claims fairly and fast. They make it easy to understand what is covered. So far they have covered an ear infection and soft tissue injury.

I have a 13-year-old dog whose recent blood work showed liver problems. I took him in for an ultrasound and fine needle asperant. Pets Best covered MORE than I expected! Two years ago the same dog also had an abscess that required treatment and tests. Again, they covered more than I thought they would. Great company! I have a younger dog and a young cat, and after my first great experience I got them insurance, too. I will never go without it again. I have recommended it to many people!

The policy declaration is short, concise, and easy to understand. The claims filing process is a breeze. I was impressed by how quickly our claim was processed, within 3 days of faxing the vet's invoice! And how much of the total bill was covered. More than I expected. It is very stressful to have a dear little beloved pet injured and have to endure surgery and recovery. On top of that, the financial burden can seem overwhelming. I'm so grateful to Pets Best for taking some of that burden away. Thank you Pets Best!

Our dog is a complete lemon - a wonderful, cuddly lemon, but a lemon all the same. When she was a puppy we realized that health issues would be Charlie's constant companion and, after her irritable bowel disease diagnosis, we started shopping for pet insurance. Many of the companies that our vet recommended (including pet insurance giant VPI) refused to take her saying that her IBD was a preexisting condition and they would not take the risk. Pets Best not only took the risk, but has been incredible to deal with over the years. And deal with us they have! If health issues were dollar bills, I'd be a very wealthy person - urinary incontinence, Vitiligo, chronic ear infections and even a torn ACL that required surgery - Pets Best has been with us every step of the way. They've treated us fairly as far as reimbursement is concerned and their customer service is outstanding! Not only is their portal easy to use, but their phone reps are the nicest customer service reps I have ever dealt with. They will literally help you with ANYTHING to do with your policy - I have never once been told it wasn't their job and they have often had to go above and beyond to assist me with complex questions regarding my dog and her health. These guys really know their stuff and are more than willing to help you along the way.
