No hassle reimbursement

Although claims are taking a week or so longer than the 5 day grace period to review, my gigantic claim for my cat was covered without hassle or fuss. I was worried there would be push back for such a large claim (~$4K) but aside from my receipts, nothing extra was asked of me and my claim was covered.

Don't know what I would do without this insurance!

My Yorkie has previously had issues with pancreatitis and enteritis, but now suddenly losing weight. It's a helpless feeling to know expensive testing needs to be done when you don't have unlimited bank accounts. Pets Best Insurance has saved me again with this claim. I totally understand occasionally processing takes over the 5 days to get medical records! The updates letting me know each phase of processing her claim was great! I purchased this policy when she was just a baby and it has been the best investment in ensuring I am always able to get her the treatment she needs. The required forms and submitting claims is beyond simple and I highly recommend Pets Best after almost 9 years as a customer!

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
