Do not second guess, just get it!

Loved the fact that I did not second guess and put off getting health insurance. As a single mama, Ill take all the help I can get. I adopted two mixed breed short haired cats within about a week of each other. Both mostly in amazing health. Just the usual flea treatment. Because of Pets Best insurance both vet visits have cost me less than $50 in total and that includes all vaccines and exam fees. I have the accident plans for both and also the essential wellness plans which is the one that actually covers the routine stuff. Both times now submitting a claim was as simple as snapping a picture of my receipt directly into the claim form on the app ( you pay the full proce up front) and then hitting submit. Both were also answered and reimbursement was coming back within 2-3 days. To say Im impressed is putting it midly! I cant see why more people dont have this insurance. NO hassles and i have yet to have to speak with a representative. The explaination of benefots are clear and the service is almost instant. It is a no brainer that my next pet is going straight on this polocu as well!!!

We Are Not Able To Control Whe…

We are not able to control when our pets get sick or injured. I feel that putting a time restraint of two weeks is excessive. I bought the insurance the day I received my kitten. The next day I noticed something different in his breathing so I took him in. By setting a time restraint some people may delay much needed care for their pet until the probation period ends even if it causes their pet more harm.

I Hav E A Large Deductible On …

I hav e a large deductible on each pet. I used to hold reporting claims until I met the deductible until I found out about the 180 day filing period.... So now I report as soon as I get the Dr notes. I get an EOB telling me its applied to my deductible but it would be really helpful if you could tell me on the EOB what amount of the deductible is still not satisfied. I believe I should have exceeded the deductible but with two dogs and numerous claims it would be a lot easier if you could just tell me what amount is still pending"

Monthly Cost

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
