I have been with PetsBest since 2012

I have been with PetsBest since 2012. They have always been wonderful to work with. My claims are processed fast and they are easy to understand. If you ever have to call customer service, which is rare, everyone is really nice and super helpful. I love PetsBest.

Our Senior Dog, Max, Was Diagnose...

Our senior dog, Max, was diagnosed with an auto-immune disease requiring blood tests, medications, and monitoring, and PetsBest has reimbursed us for his treatment, which has been very helpful in allowing us to keep him comfortable and happy!

I Called Customer Service Because...

I called customer service because I had no idea how to submit the claim. They were super helpful and emailed me the forms although they were on the site. I submitted multiple receipts for different visits with one form and they reviewed them all individually. This was the best experience I've ever had with an insurance company. If only my personal insurances company was this cooperative.

Monthly Cost

$6 and up, depending on your chosen plan.

Coverage

Accident and Illness plans with optional reimbursement levels of 70%, 80%, or 90% after the deductible. Flat Rate Accident coverage for $9/month for dogs and $6/month for cats. (Available in most states). Two optional Wellness plans to cover routine care. 24/7 Pet Helpline, powered by whiskerDocs is included on all policies. The pay-out amount is based on your actual vet bill. Reimbursements are sent directly to CareCredit credit card when chosen as your default reimbursement method. Choose to have your eligible claim payment reimbursed directly back to your CareCredit card.

Payout Limits

$5000 -Unlimited annual limit, depending on your chosen plan. Unlimited lifetime limits.

Deductible

$50 – $1,000 annually.

Age Limits

Pet must be at least 7 weeks old to enroll. Pets Best does not restrict coverage or availability for older pets.

Waiting Period

A waiting period refers to the amount of time after enrolling before your pet is eligible for coverage. Waiting periods vary by the type of coverage and start on the effective date of your policy. Once met, waiting periods are waived for continuous, uninterrupted policy renewals. Pets Best offers some of the shortest waiting periods in the industry following the policy effective date. Exclusions

Pre-existing conditions are not covered. Elective and preventive procedures are not covered.
